Office 365 New Pricing 2017
Microsoft have made a couple of announcements around their Office 365 cloud product suites, and around how they see the business model going.
In essence they have put the prices up from 2016 by around 20%, and have decided they no longer want to deal directly with end-users so are pushing for partners to deal with end customers directly.

Other Office 365 products are available on a similar basis to the above, but these are the most common products our clients use.
What this means is:
- You will no longer pay Microsoft directly for the Office 365 services, instead we will bill you and collect the money through direct debit
- You will no longer contact Microsoft directly for support, you will contact us (you probably already do, right?)
- More options for out-of-hours support through our 3rd party Office 365 helpdesk
If you are an existing Office 365 Subscriber:
First we will set your subscription to not auto-renew with Microsoft. Cancelling it may mean you are subject to early termination fees so we typically won’t change you over until near your renewal date. Before the expiry we will link your Office 365 service to the portal used by our Microsoft distributors, and assign the necessary licenses for you at that time.
We will then bill you pro-rata for your usage in your first month, and then on the 1st of the second month for services in advance.
Microsoft require that we advise you of the agreement you are entering into. For reference, their agreement is located here.
Please do give us a call if you have any queries about this.
