Supply

Installation

Whether you buy your equipment from us or from another supplier, LANsALot can commission your new equipment painlessly. We can even move your existing equipment if you move house or business premesis, and advise on how to get the most comfortable and enjoyable use out of it.

If your requirements are a litte more complex than most, LANsALot can set up your equipment to your exact requirements.

Maintenance

Machines are designed to be reliable - but what happens when things inevitably go wrong? Professional, knowledgeable service is vital to ensure you feel comfortable about entrusting your computer - probably the most complex machine you own - to an engineer to be repaired. LANsALot professionals can visit your home, and usually repair on-site. For instances where you do not have broadband on-site, or your computer requires lengthy diagnostics, our workshop allows us to complete these unattended. This not only helps bring costs down, but also ensures that any spare parts we require are to hand immediately.

Training

Technology is a wonderful thing - if you know how to use it. Some people are able to learn by trial and error, while others have children and work colleagues to help them out. LANsALot provide training on a one-to-one basis, answering your questions and showing you how to get the most from your PC experience.

Typical undertakings for LANsALot include;

- Commissioning a new PC in place of an existing one, and migrating information over from the old PC
- Networking 2 PCs, to allow access to the Internet from the old PC (for the children!)
- Wireless network provision, for easy Internet sharing between laptop computers
- Analysis and repair of PC faults, including popups, Windows errors, and total system failure
- One-to-one training on Internet access and Email functionality (in conjunction with a broadband connection)
- Small business network setup including Microsoft Exchange server, full antivirus protection, and backup solution.

Special projects have included;

- Laptop fault analysis and repair, including strip/rebuild
- Wireless distribution system, to extended wireless coverage without the need for interconnecting cables
- Data recovery from failing hard drive and accidental file deletion
- Broadband installation on a telephone line which was running through a telephone system (PABX)
