Sage Accounts SagePDFPrinter x64 bit aka Sage PDF Converter x64 bit

Sage Accounts is compatible with Windows 7 x64 aka 64 bit but you need the sage pdf converter x64 bit update. Sage UK do not make it easy for you to find and install the Sage PDF Converter x64 bit update. They want you to login to the support website first, and have a support contract. If you search, you will find a link to the US site which has a link to download the Amyuni converted, but the link is dead. A lot of our customers have purchased Sage, know what they are doing with it and so do not need the support contract. When they have new computers, the notable absence of the missing Sage PDF Printer causes problems when trying to email invoices, generate reports etc.

What is supported and what is compatible are different things, and you may find that while Sage do not support your version on Windows 7 64 bit, it may work albeit with limited functionality. This seems to be the case with Sage 50 Accounts 2012 out-of-the-box, it does not install the SagePDFPrinter software for you, and gives you no indication that it hasn’t or why not.

The solution is to download the Sage PDF Driver Update which is a re-branded Amyuni PDF driver, licensed by Sage for you to use with Sage and only with Sage. You can install this after installing Sage.

The download link without needing to login is here:

UPDATE 2018-06-25 – use this link https://my.sage.co.uk/public/help/askarticle.aspx?articleid=25745

I can verify that this works with Sage 50 Accounts 2012. I will update when I try other versions.

I do not believe this is needed for Sage 2013 as it is included out-of-the-box. Don’t forget to keep up-to-date with Sage Updates.

Hope this helps!
